Founded in 1989 by Gary Thurston, LeMoyne Interiors was named after its original location on LeMoyne Avenue. Already established in the commercial construction industry, Thurston was looking to expand his reach in a complementary way. The drywall company started with just two employees and has since grown to a comprehensive staff of 55 which includes project managers, estimators, supervisors, and superintendents. The company also has access to a robust network of local subcontractors to meet increasing labor demands. Well established in the Central New York region, the company has worked on notable projects such as the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center at Syracuse University, the new Redhouse Arts Center, and the new Nascentia Health headquarters.
